Why people use PDF to Blog Post

Internal docs that should be public-facing — product launches, research findings, case studies — rarely make the leap because converting them to blog format is tedious. PDF to Blog Post generates a publish-ready draft (hook, sections, conclusion) from any source PDF. The output is a starting draft, not a finished post.

Product launch announcement
Internal launch spec becomes the customer-facing blog post draft — same product, different audience, different register. Saves the “rewrite the spec for the website” afternoon every PM dreads.
Research findings → thought leadership
Internal research reports become external-facing thought-leadership posts. Useful for VC-backed startups doing content marketing on the back of their data.
Case study repurposing
Customer success case studies (often delivered as 10-page PDFs) become 800-word blog posts highlighting the same story. The blog format unlocks SEO + social-share value the PDF format can’t generate.
Conference talk → blog post
Speakers turning their own conference talk decks into companion blog posts. The blog post serves as the durable link to share post-talk — better than “here are my slides” tweets.
Documentation summary post
Long documentation pages become digest blog posts that index back into the docs. Improves SEO surface (long-tail keyword discovery) for technical products with deep docs.

How PDF to Blog Post works

Three steps. Sign in to run, zero retention — files never persisted on our servers.

  1. STEP 1
    Drop the PDF
PDF up to 100 MB. Works on internal docs, research reports, case studies, talk decks, technical specs.
  2. STEP 2
    We restructure for blog format
Server-side extraction, then a generation pass that produces blog-shape: hook (first 2 paragraphs), themed sections with subheaders, transition prose between sections, conclusion + (optional) CTA. Tone shifts toward conversational while preserving facts.
  3. STEP 3
    Get markdown blog draft
Output is markdown with hook, H2 sections, conclusion. Length scales with input — typically 800–1500 words. Page citations link each section back to the source PDF for fact-checking.

What makes pdfcraft ai different

  • Citations on every claim
Every AI summary, answer, and translation links back to the page it came from. You can verify the source before relying on the output. Hallucination is bounded, not blind.
  • Pay only for what you use
No subscription. Purchased credits never expire. Cancel anytime. Cost shown before you run — exact credit amount appears after upload.
  • Multi-provider routing, no vendor lock-in
We balance multiple AI providers per call to optimise cost and quality. If one has an outage, the next call automatically tries another. You're not bound to a single vendor's pricing or downtime.
  • Zero retention by design
Your PDF lives in memory only as long as the AI call needs it, then it's discarded — nothing is persisted to our servers. We don't fine-tune models on your data. Verifiable in your dashboard's audit log.
  • Honest about model limits
When a doc exceeds the model's context window we surface that the output was truncated (we render result.wasTruncated in every AI tool's UI). When a number can't be verified from the source we flag it. No silent failures.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the output?
Typically 800–1500 words for a 10–30 page source. Longer sources get a longer post (capped around 2000 words to keep the post scannable). For explicit length control, run AI Condense on the output.
Will it write the hook in my brand voice?
Generic engaging-blog tone by default. Brand voice replication is partial — the model imitates surface signals (sentence length, vocabulary preferences) when given examples but the output is best treated as a draft for your editor to brand-tune.
Does it generate SEO-ready titles?
Includes a suggested title at the top of the output. The title is descriptive of the post content but isn’t SEO-keyword optimized — for keyword research and SEO-tuned titles, use a dedicated SEO tool. The post body is search-friendly (clear hierarchy, scannable subheaders).
What about images and embeds?
Output is text-only. The post will reference where images would help (“[chart showing Q3 revenue]”) so you know what to add manually. Image generation is a separate workflow.
What’s the credit cost?
3 credits per draft. Cost is fixed regardless of doc size.
Should I publish the output as-is?
No. The output is a draft — ~80% of the work, but the last 20% (editor pass for voice + fact-check + adding examples / images) materially improves quality. Treat it as the part that would have taken you 2 hours, freed up.

Need a newsletter version too?

PDF to Email Newsletter generates a newsletter-shaped output from the same source — subject + preheader + sections + sign-off. Pairs naturally with the blog post for the “publish on blog AND email subscribers” workflow.
